Want to learn to fly an R/C Airplane? Our club has flight instructors that will give new members valuable information on what equipment and/or airplane to buy as well as teach you how to fly. Don’t have a R/C Airplane yet? No problem, during our summer monthly Fun Fly events, our club has a dedicated trainer plane that the instructor can use to let you fly to see if you like flying an R/C airplane. Chances are, you will love it!
With today’s technology, an instructor will use a “Buddy Box” that links to the student’s transmitter to control the airplane and the instructor can take over control if the student gets into trouble and correct the airplane. Once stable again, the instruction can give control back to the student. This is a safe way to learn and protects the investment a student has in their airplane.
